MCMC Torchlit Twilight Nature Tour for Families and Community: Visit Kalkallo Common with a Guided Nature Walk
Tuesday 14 April 2026, 06:00pm - 07:30pm

It’s a good time to get together with the Kalkallo community to explore the fascinating local features of Kalkallo Common, including the nature of its rockiness and connection to the new marram baba Merri Creek Parklands. We’ll explore Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung waring season (April - July), as we aim to continue our connections to each other and nature in your neighbourhood.

Our short walk will be on uneven ground as we notice the local weather, the fascinating geology and the plants and animals that visit or make this place home. We’ll discuss how a new local environment group called Friends of Kalkallo Common could support your local environment.

Registration essential HERE

Meeting point: the car park on the corner of Malcolm and Hunter Streets near Donnybrook Cemetery. Here's the Google maps pin.
